$1,799 for a Dental-Implant Package ($4,160 Total Value)

  • Implant (a $1,850 value)
  • Abutment (a $550 value)
  • Crown (a $1,150 value)
  • CBCT 3-D image for improved patient safety (a $450 value)
  • Oral evaluation (a $160 value)

After an evaluation of your mouth, Dr. McCracken installs the implant, a metal cylinder that acts as a tooth root, into your jawbone. The implant is then allowed to become fixed in the bone, a process that can take several months. Once the implant is healed, the dentist attaches an abutment to the implant and fits a crown, which acts and functions like a natural tooth, over the abutment.

The entire procedure requires multiple visits and can take up to a year to complete. Though the procedure is performed in association with Alabama Implant Education, a dental-implant training center, Dr. McCracken installs the implant himself, without any student-dentist participation or observation.

Dr. McCracken, who holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, also teaches other dentists how to perform dental implants at Alabama Implant Education LLC.
