are the cool air returns vents be included in the count for vents, i have 16 vents and 5 cool air vents so how much would that be?. and do you seal the cool air vents while your cleaning? Joan

Joan, I sincerely apologize for my delayed response. Cold air returns are certainly counted as a vent, in your case you would have 21 total air vents so the additional cost would be $140.25 so your total with the Waste Handling & Energy Fee and GST would be $219.66 minus the $49 for the Groupon deal. During the cleaning cold air returns can be sealed off with some magnetic material but most often do not have to be sealed unless the risk of dust being blown back out of it is present.

Joyce, the cleaning & access charge for air conditioning is only $39. For this you are going to get a thorough cleaning of the a/c coils which will help your a/c to run more efficiently and is a great preventative maintenance item.

How deep do they clean each duct? In other words, are they doing the whole length of the ducts from furnace to floor vent?

Kevin, it really does depend on the location of the vent in relation to the main furnace plenum. The Roto-Whip system is designed to pass dampers in the ductwork and go the whole length of the duct.

1) I have 10 ducts on main main floor & 2nd floor but I also have an unfinished basement with ceiling ducts? Do I have to have those unfinished basement ceiling ducts cleaned? Because that will add 48$ to the price (12$ extra per duct) 2) Also how much is this fee for waste handling & energy? Is that charged to every consumer of this groupon on top of the groupon cost? Thanks!

Kevin, in order to guarantee a thorough cleaning we do have to clean all of the vents in the home including hot vents, cold air returns and basement ceiling vents. The Waste Handling & Energy Fee is $19.95 it is in addition to the Groupon cost. We have this fee so that you know we are an environmentally safe company and to cover all energy related costs that are related to the cleaning.
