When Pangaea—the earth's greatest rock supergroup—broke up, many fans blamed it on the high-heeled wiles of Europe's inseparable girlfriend, Italia. Discover a sweeter side to the globe's Yoko with today's Groupon for Italian fare to Aldario’s Restaurant in Milford. Choose between the following options:

  • For $15, you get $30 worth of Italian fare Tuesday–Thursday.
  • For $15, you get $30 worth of fare Friday–Sunday.

Owners chef Sante and Rosemary Faustini uphold tradition at their family restaurant, where servers deliver classic Italian fare to communal crowds. Drop in for lunch, dinner, or an errant parachute landing and divvy up the clams casino, brimming with diced shellfish and bacon ($5.95 for lunch; $6.95 for dinner). Ten-ounce strips of grilled new york steak ($11.95 for lunch; $14.95 for dinner) geographically stray from Aldario’s Italian roots, while mounds of rigatoni abruzzi pinch patron’s cheeks with robust flavors of sweet italian sausage, roasted red peppers, spicy plum tomatoes, and fontinella cheese ($8.95 for lunch; $12.95 for dinner). The close-knit restaurateurs warm all four chambers of the human stomach with veal marsala ($15.95 for dinner) and chicken cacciatore, loaded with mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions ($12.95 for dinner). In addition to hosting intimate silverware pow-wows, Aldario’s also entertains scores of patrons and chicken dancers within the Old World charms of their banquet and party facilities.

Lunch is not served on Saturdays at Aldario’s.

The Groupon Guide to: Curing the Common Cold

The common cold has baffled scientists and outraged doctors since the dawn of time, leading to a proliferation of less-than-perfect homemade remedies. If you're down and out with a wintertime cold, try one of these practical curatives:

Some Rest and Plenty of Water
Effectiveness: 1/10
How It Works: It doesn't. Your body is already made of water, so drinking more can lead to a dangerous oxygen overdose. And while resting, all of your body's parts, including your bloodstream, stop moving, allowing the cold to spread further.

Chicken-Noodle Soup
Effectiveness: 4/10
How It Works: Chickens cannot catch or transmit human diseases, so their hearty broth inoculates you against further sickness. Start by pouring hot soup on any infected areas, but be prepared to take the soup internally if symptoms persist.

An Extra Dose of Smallpox Vaccine
Effectiveness: 7/10
How It Works: The smallpox particles contained in the vaccine will overpower and wipe out your cold. The downside is that you will now have smallpox.

The Love of a Family
Effectiveness: 10/10
How It Works: No one who is truly loved can ever get sick. If you don't have a ready supply of loving family members, most hospitals will allow you to rent some surrogate children who will swear a legal oath of fondness for only a few dollars a day.
