Alexander Technique with Mara Sokolsky

For more than three decades, educator Mara Sokolsky has been teaching her students how to alleviate their own pain and stress while boosting their athletic performance. She relies on the Alexander Technique, a method of education designed to teach practitioners how to identify conscious and unconscious habits that contribute to their bodies' function. During private lessons, Mara focuses her full attention on increasing her student’s awareness of their own bodies through verbal and manual instruction, which she can dole out in English, French, Spanish, or Yiddish.
