Reviews
Although this production of Alice in Wonderland: A Rock Opera has yet to be reviewed, a San Antonio production earned high praise from the Express-News:
- The first act focuses on Dodgson and Alice, including numbers in which the larger community (sung by a killer chorus) mocks him for his stuttering and accuses him of having a less-than-wholesome interest in the girl. The second act takes place in Wonderland, where Alice encounters all sorts of curious characters…The Wonderland scenes are playful, with just the right sense of barely contained chaos. – Deborah Martin, Express-News
