Altitude Cheer and Tumble

Experienced coaches at Altitude Cheer and Tumble enrich young athletes with teamwork, self-motivation, and perseverance. The gym's graduated curriculum corrals kids aged 3 and older into intro and basic classes, which provide a sporty framework by teaching tumbling fundamentals, jumps, dance moves, and how best to tell the difference between a pompom and a frazzled maltese. As tumblers advance, instructors tweak technique while folding in more challenging gymnastics, including back handsprings, walkovers, and back tucks. Open gym bolsters lessons with coach-supervised time to hone skills, practice flips, or land waterless belly flops amid the gym's cushy confines. Both state-of-the-art facilities train tumblers with spring floors, trampolines, air floors, and hard floors, each of which mimic the conditions found in competitive situations.

The Groupon Guide to: Tricking Your Kids into Eating Vegetables

Kids don't want to eat vegetables because vegetables aren't fun. Make legumes laughably fun with these tips for preparing vegetables:

  • Put black beans on circular slices of potato to give your kids healthier "chocolate-chip cookies."

  • Cut corn off the cob and offer their picky palates some "rotten goblin teeth."

  • Mash yams and your young ones will be thrilled to eat "a very sick man's innards."

  • An avocado kind of looks like a hand grenade.

  • Remove the strings from celery. Kids will voluntarily eat celery if it's not strung like some kind of ridiculous violin.

Mom, can I have seconds of goblin teeth?
