Thank you for your interest in AmSteam. The cost is $10.00/duct for any above 11. Ideally it is not recommended to only do a select few ducts as then you are not getting a proper clean.

We certainly can clean with the brushes. It is an addtional fee of $69.00 as the package is different method.

Does one have to have more than the 11 ducts cleaned? If there is an intake duct, basically attached to the furnace (on wall between furnace and laundry room), does that count as a duct or is it part of the furnace cleaning? Is an air filter part of the package? If not, how much do you charge for a 20x16x1 filter?

We recommend to have all vents, both cold and hot air returns cleaned, although if vents in a basement that is not being used can sometimes be bypassed. The intake would be part of the vents as well. We do replace the filter at no additional charge as well. If you are interested in a Dust Free Allergy Gold Lifetime filter, we do have it in your size. What is the definition of a duct - does your count include those on the floor and also those on the wall.

Definition is cold and hot air returns. So the ones on the floor and wall. Basement would be the vents from your ceiling. Our package does include 11, so anything above 11 would be $10.00/duct.

Does this deal include cleaning of the furnace itself maintainace wise like the igniter?
