Participants gather on Saturday, September 21 at 8 a.m. for the kick-off gathering. Walk, jog, and two-step around Sugar House Park starting at 9 a.m. After the race, enjoy complimentary Subway sandwiches, photo booths, heart-healthy educational exhibits, and the opportunity to learn CPR to the tune of "Staying Alive". American Heart Association

When the American Heart Association was founded by six cardiologists in 1924, the only prescriptions given for heart disease were permanent bed rest and a diet of Valentines Day cards.
