This touch of decor might seem out of place, but it's actually a nod to the spa's name—anthea translates to "flower" in Greek—and to its penchant for all-natural products. These products find their way into nine varieties of facials, which rely on enzymes and aromatherapy or employ European exfoliation techniques and high-frequency currents. The aestheticians also draw on herbs, healing muds, and oils to refresh skin and relax muscles during massages and body treatments. Anthea Spa also treats fingers and toes to classic and Shellac mani-pedis; the latter protects nails from chips and sock puppets prone to nervous biting.
