Choose from Three Options

  • $129 for a PADI Open Water Diver certification course with all rental equipment, except mask, snorkel, fins, and boots. Equipment included: a compressed air tank, wet suit, regulator, buoyancy control device, and weights (a $299.95 value)
  • $20 for a 60-minute Discover Scuba class with equipment for one (a $50 value)
  • $38 for a 60-minute Discover Scuba class with equipment for two (a $100 value

During each PADI Open Water Diver certification course, students combine 12–16 hours of classroom and pool training with open-water dives at Clear Springs Scuba Park or Athens Scuba Park with an additional admission fee ($30, not included in the Groupon). Students must purchase their own mask, snorkel, fins, and boots from the gear shop or pay a rental fee ($85, not included in the Groupon). Upon completion of the course, divers must register their certification with PADI for an additional fee ($20, not included in the Groupon).

Aqua Trek Sports

Aqua Trek Sports’ team of SSI-certified divers shares the adventure of underwater exploration and aims to turn aquatic neophytes into lifelong diving enthusiasts by staging classes and shelving rentable and purchasable scuba gear. Whether getting their feet wet during a Try Scuba class or training for SSI certification of their own, students of all expertise levels gain insight into their own technique from their helpful instructors. In the facility's dive shop, technicians repair and service existing equipment or outfit visitors with new or rental gear, including underwater cameras that capture aquatic landscapes and film documentaries about Flipper the dolphin's directorial debut.
