Hello, Although the guided tour, magic show, and 3D is not included in the membership, if I want to purchase these extras when I go to the Aquarium, would I be able to do so? If so, are there discounts for members? Also, with my membership would I be able to go to the daily activities like the sharks feeding?

Hello, the Magic show, movies, and Behind the scenes are always available for purchase. With the membership, you'll get $5 off the magic show, $3 off the movies and the behind the scenes is a $2 or $5 dollar discount, depending on which tour you do. You can name your sister as the second adult, however, if your partner or her partner wanted to bring the kids that wouldn't work. There as to be at least one named adult when you come to the aquarium. The family plus offers a flexible guest, that guest isn't named and can come with either of the named adults whenever, it can be another child, a nanny, a grandparent, etc. I hope this helps and if there is anything else please let me know.

Each year the list of participates changes. Because that list hasn't gone out yet, I'm not 100% sure. In the past, yes there's been a discount. I'm sorry about the confusion. However, I can say that this year at the aquarium we will be making big changes and the value of this membership will worth it.

I just joined and redeemed this Groupon offer. I called the Aquarium of the Bay to confirm there is a discount to the Oakland Zoo. When I arrived at the zoo, the membership office stated that Aquarium of the Bay is no longer an affiliate, and I had to pay full price. where can I find an updated list of affiliates?

Well, when are the 1 and 3 year old birthdays? they would be free for a year, making the family plus membership your best bet. If the 3 year old is going to turn 4 with in the year then a Family plus and an individual is the best bet. I hope this helps and fill free to contact me anytime.

Can the guest in the family member plus come as many times or is there a limited number of times the guest can come? And does the membership expire from the first day going to the aquarium or when the membership is set up? Thanks.

A family membership is good for 2 adults and 2 children up to 18 years. and the family plus is good for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 flexible guest, such as a grandparent, caretaker, friend.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do so. My recombination would be because it is such a great deal, to purchase an individual (which includes a named adult and a flexible guest) and a family plus (which includes 2 adults, 2 children and one flexible guest). If you did this it would be $78. but a value of $160. and you'll always be able to bring 7 people. I hope this helps.

Hi :) Just so I am clear... If I purchase the $29 individual option, my membership will get me in for free for one year from the time it's redeemed, and I can bring a guest (included in the price of my membership) each time I visit the Aquarium of the Bay. We will both get discounts at the other participating venues. So, in other words, for my husband and I to get in for free, I need to purchase 1 individual membership for $29. Correct?

yes, that is correct. However, the discounts at other locations might only be for One person being that it's an individual. But, here at the aquarium it will get you and one person you choose to bring that day.
