Is the open water certification PADI, NAUI, or what ? Can the pool work, course work, and dive be done between December 27-30, 2012 (weather permitting)?

Hello Marla,the open water certification can be Padi,Sdi, or Pdic, we have instructors who represent those 3 agencies..your 2nd question..yes it can be done in 3 days, if the ocean is too rough we have parks with lakes we can use. Please feel free to call us at 954-792-4977.

The Open Water Certification course says that it includes equipment and gear. What's the difference between the two? Does the price include course materials or does one need to pay extra for books or an online class?

Hello David, the open water course includes everything you need, however if you choose the online course, that is extra and you'll need my instructor #, which is 99399, the cost is $130. We offer use of dvd and book free, if you choose not to go online. Now the advanced course does not include use of equipment, we rent that $20/day for 2-3 days of course(must be open water certified to enroll in advanced open water) please feel free to call us at the store 954-792-4977 and we'd be happy to help answer any questions.
