Do you have to buy 1 for each person? I have a group of 3 people.

Brett G.

Hi Amanda,

There is the option to get a 3 seater UTV with this Groupon and 1 Groupon will allow you to do so. However, if you’re looking to reserve 3 separate ATV’s for the 3 of you, then yes, you’ll have to buy 3 Groupons. Hope this helps!!

Have fun,

Carmen D.

So for me and my son to share a two seater UTV I only need to purchase 1 $60 groupon, correct? And he is 9, is he ok to ride?

Thanks!

Brett G.

Hi Carmen,

That is correct. So long as he’s riding with you, everything is good to go.

Happy Holidays,

-Brett, Groupon Staff

Is there an expiraton dat?

Brett G.

Elizabeth,

This Groupon doesn’t expire until June 8, 2010.

Do the 3 seaters and 2 seaters keep up with the single riders? Also, how old do you recommend a rider must be to ride on his own?

For the 3 or 4 seater, is there a minimum age requirement for the passengers?

Brett G.

Lia and Dawnie,

There seem to be lots of great questions! Hold tight, Joe (the owner), is posting some great info for everyone here on the discussion board.

Hello all,

Thanks for looking, all ATVs are single rider only and you get to chose the model and style for each rider. All 2 or 4 seat Models are the Yamaha Rhino Side X Side. Note that the back seat is made for Kids or smaller people and the back seat is rated for 200lbs max. 1 groupon per ATV is required and is good for the Yamaha Rhino. All the rides include Water, Snacks, Fuel, Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Map, and Compass. Each Groupon is good for 1 ATV or Rhino.

The age limit for riders is 13 – depending on height and weight (100 pounds, 5’ foot tall min) . All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent and the parent must consent. If you are concerned with your childs size or maturity to drive, they will have just as much fun as a passenger in the Rhino.

Jennifer .

Joe, you are our hero for the year! We’re looking so forward to this adventure! Go Groupon!!! Go AZ OUTDOOR FUN!

Jennifer .

Okay, so anyone 13 and under should RIDE with an adult DRIVER while those 14 and older can BE DRIVERS??? Our 9 year old is allowed to RIDE in the Rhino with an adult DRIVER, correct? Sorry, I guess I’m easily confused!

Thank you Joe (And Groupon). I think I will actually get my husband of 12 years a Christmas gift he will really like!!!!

Joe A.

Yes Jennifer, the 9 year old should ride in the Rhino with an adult driver. Also keep in mind there is a height and weight requirement for 14 and older as well. They need to be 14 and older and meet the height and weight requirment.

To clarify anyone 13 and older that meets the 100 pounds and 5’ foot tall can drive an atv, with parent consent and being accompanied by their parent.

6 and up can be passengers in the UTV with a max weight occupancy in the back of a Rhino of 200 pounds.

Jennifer .

Brett Truka, would you please clarify for me? I have received my Purchase Confirmed email from Groupon. Does this solidify and finalize my purchase or do I still have the option to modify the quantity of today’s Groupon? There was a statement about “once you print the Groupon” but now I can’t find it. If I don’t want to modify anything, can I just print the Groupon anytime now that I’ve received the Purchase Confirmed

Brett G.

Jennifer,

The email confirms that you made your purchase and you’ll get your voucher(s) by tomorrow morning. You can still go back and purchase more if you’d like. If you have any problems, feel free to contact support@groupon.com.

Thanks!

I have a question about a trailer. I would like to rent one UTV (Rhino) for 2 people to ride on. However, it says in the fine print that “each rental comes with a ramp, and a trailer is included with two or more rentals (subject to availability).” Does this mean we need to somehow provide our own trailer for the one UTV we want to rent? Thanks.

Sara F.

I am not impressed with this entry in the “Groupon Says” list: Claustrophobic Cal’s Amateur Spelunking Cave Dive and Eventual Rescue Experience. Surely you are not unaware that an amateur spelunker died over the Thanksgiving holiday in Utah after a failed rescue attempt. Is this an attempt at humor regarding the death of a man? The loss of a father and husband for a family? I don’t get it, and if I don’t, then there are many more who don’t as well. It should be removed immediately- I emailed and called customer service about it but they are apparently too understaffed to respond. I were AOF, I wouldn’t want that on my Groupon page – Joe, maybe they’ll pick up the phone for you.

Tara,

If there is a trailer available it would be included in a UTV rental. The ramp is for a single atv rental.

Sara F.

entry has been removed- thank you.

Sara,

Thank you for bringing that to our attention, we were not aware it was on there and we pride ourselves in safetly and never like to hear or see that anyone has been harmed or killed from these outdoor activities.

Thanks for looking out for us!!

Joe

Tara M.

Joe, how much available credit do we need to have on our credit card for the security deposit? Thanks.

Joe A.

The Security Deposit is $500.00 per atv and $1000.00 per UTV.

Jennifer .

Groupon, you didn’t know about what took place in Utah. It is good that you removed the post. The fatality was a 2nd year med student who was spelunking in Nutty Putty Cave; he got stuck upside down. It is, indeed, a horrific tragedy. Here is a link to some info on it bq.

Where does the “guided tour go”?

Joe A.
Merchant

Our guided tours Take place north of Phoenix in the Beautiful Bradshaw Mountains. The Trip begins in the lower desert near the Agua Fria river valley below the mountains. This area is awesome desert trail riding with tons of small creek and wash riding and crossings, the lower desert is full of the best desert views with the Arizona desert sky exploding with florescent colors and the mountains, speckled with veins of deep canyons carved by flash flooding rains. Giant Saguaro cactus hundreds of years old with suicide Barrel cactus twisting at their base. The desert soil sparkling with brightly colored rocks, this is a must see. Our Guides are certified and Arizona smart with a vast knowledge about all the plant life, wildlife, history, area, climate, and the ancient North American Natives who once farmed, hunted, survived, and evolved in this unforgiving desert. See ancient ruins and how they made use of this land. This area was and still is full of gold. We visit and pass by many working and abandon gold mines on the way up to Tip Top with awesome 360 degree views.

When will this offer (to purchase) expire?

Jack A.

Has anyone else had problems with reservations at AZ Outdoor? I have left 2 messages this week and have not received a call back.

Jack – sorry for the delay, our groupon sales were so successful our phones have been ringing off the hook. I do believe that we did get your reservation booked yesterday and apologize for any delay in our response. We pride our selves with the best customer service and always put our customers first.

Youri – the groupon expires on June 8, 2010.

Thanks again everyone!!! We look forward to seeing you!

Darrin H.

We came out from TX to visit family and thought this would be fun thing to try… And it was ABOVE our expectations! Joe- our guide did a great job of giving us instuctions on handling the ATV’s (one in the group had no experience), along with a great job of sight seeing and stopping for interesting info or tidbitts of history….

The ATV’s were in good mechanical shape, along with some safety gear provided and a pleasant surprise of snacks and bottled water. Overall- a great experience- and we hope to do it again next year!
