Building a miniature ship inside a bottle is impressive, but not as impressive as forging a giant glass shell around yourself and waiting for your family to come home and find you. Do something crafty with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $12 for one painting class (a $25 value)
  • $24 for two painting classes (a $50 value)

This Groupon is valid for children, teen, and adult painting classes. During classes, students create their own 8”x10” masterpiece using acrylics, oil pastel, or watercolor, or they paint a small sculpture. Projects vary from class to class and by location; please visit the Art House website for weekly class times and project themes.

Art House

Since 2000, Art House has kindled creativity and a love of history by offering museum-quality art classes for budding Picassos aged three through adult. Inside each location, degreed artist-teachers helm classes year-round, guiding students through a structured curriculum in everything from drawing and painting to sculpting. The teachers combine lessons in artistic techniques with a study of art history in order to form a well-rounded educational experience that keeps kids from accidentally painting a self-portrait that looks exactly like Van Gogh’s. Art House also brings art-loving youths together in camps, workshops, and private parties.

The Groupon Guide to: Making a Music Video

Music videos are short movies designed to add nonexistent layers of meaning to a song. Here's what you'll need to put together a hot, happenin' vid:

Costumes: The costumes are for the portion of your audience that doesn’t really care for music but goes insane for fashion hats.

Sets: Your sets should include a bedroom, a car, a farmers' market full of loose fruit you can accidentally knock over, a mall from the future, a room that's just full of shapes, and a cell-phone store where you can be filmed purchasing Vincinity's brand-new SuperGalactic Screenless 4G.

Backup Dancers: This group of sassy hard bodies will make you look like you know what you're doing by mimicking the dance moves you're inventing on the spot.

Hit Song: It might seem difficult to write a hit song, but it's not hard to write a rock 'n' roll cover of already-popular "We Three Kings."

I've never heard this version of "We Three Kings."
