Art of Eight Training and Fitness Center owner Melchor Menor doesn't just train stars; he's something of a celebrity himself. A former professional fighter and two-time muay thai world champion, Coach Mel has also appeared on numerous TV programs including Stan Lee's Superhumans. He now heads Art of Eight, an 8,000-square-foot fitness facility that offers more than 50 weekly group fitness classes. In addition to muay thai, classes are taught in boxing, MMA, and core strengthening. Art of Eight instructors also teach kickboxing, which simultaneously provides workouts while teaching students how to defend themselves against particularly malevolent boxes.
