Artaculture Academy

Artaculture Academy's name neatly synthesizes its values: art and permaculture. On the artistic side, the academy’s 7-acre site currently houses a glass-blowing studio, where beginners and experienced craftspeople take classes and work independently. Future visitors, however, will find gallery space, along with a additional classrooms devoted to clay and ceramics, woodworking, metalworking, and healing arts. And in the pursuit of permaculture, Artaculture Academy plans to operate as sustainably as possible. Anticipated clubs and classes will address such earth-conscious topics as beekeeping and housebreaking, organic gardening, backyard poultry, and intentional community design.
