Q&A with Julie And Tracy Tepp, Owners/Producers
I'm a first-timer. How do you get me ready for the experience?
Review our web site prior to coming down to gain knowledge of event components and schedules, and also festival rules (what's allowed and what is not); be sure to grab an event brochure at the gate when you arrive.
As the old adage says, "Stuff happens." What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
As an outdoor event, patrons should always be prepared for inclement weather. The festival utilizes an Emergency Preparedness Plan; onsite security coordinated and provided by the Atlanta Police Department; and on-site first aid provided by a professional event medical services provider.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
By year five, our festival was ranked in the Top 100 Best Fine Art & Design Shows by Sunshine Artist magazine. We also offer a wide variety of arts-related demonstrations, education sessions, and hands on painting classes—as well as a stage of live music featuring Mudcat on Sunday afternoon. Use of MARTA or one of our partner parking decks is highly recommended.
