  • $25 for a four-hour intensive Comedy Quest or Hollywood Bound workshop for ages 7–19 (a $120 value). Click here for available dates.

In the Hollywood Bound intensive workshop, theater and film professionals share tips for pursuing careers on screen, familiarizing youngsters—separated into preteen and teenage groups—with audition processes and set etiquette. Alternatively, Comedy Quest imparts the timeless arts of improvisation, physical comedy, and situation comedy.

  • $89 for a four-day performing-arts camp for ages 6–16 from May 28 to 31 (a $199 value). The camp runs 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Youngsters are introduced to film acting and musical theater during a performing-arts camp, which encourages creative whimsy with a week of energetic lessons that may explore anything from makeup and dance to stage combat.

Atlanta Workshop Players Acting Studio

Atlanta Workshop Players Acting Studio was founded in 1981 as the brainchild of seasoned Executive Director Lynn Stallings. Since its inception, the company—a creative springboard for young children, teenagers, and adults—has produced dozens of plays and original musicals. FOX 5 spotlighted the program's fun-filled curriculum, which strives to improve self-confidence in students. Stallings and her husband, Don, get into the act as well, sometimes teaching classes alongside guest artists such as William Shakespeare's ghost.
