I have used gel with tray whiteners in the past and could not finish the 2 week treatment because my teeth were so sensitive. Does this hurt? Or is it so quick there is not that burning sensitivity?

Is this considered whitening or bleaching? How long is this appointment for using the gel? How many shades would be expected to change for 30 min., 1hr? What is the cost of any additional treatments for whitening?
