During the 30-minute introductory lesson, beginners take the reins as they fly 500 feet above the ground. As passengers, they can snap photos of the sweeping panorama below. Students will receive one-on-one instruction and will be able to quiz the FAA Certified Pilot on proper landing procedures and whether the Navy Pier ferris wheel could, hypothetically, work as the blade on a giant homemade, totally hypothetical, helicopter.
