Choose Between Two Options

Similar to Zumba but without the emphasis on latin music, the drop-in Dance Fitness workout gets feet moving with musical selections that span the last four decades. The class’s easy-to-follow dance moves can be performed at high or low intensity, making it an ideal workout for students of all fitness levels. Classes are held at LifeDance Studios; view the full schedule here.

Balance

Kerrie Bodendorf, the face behind Balance, has always been a fitness enthusiast, whether running in a 5K, achieving her CrossFit certification, or working out at the YMCA. Despite her healthy living, she noticed that she always had chronic pain in her wrists, shoulder, lower back, and neck. Eager to alleviate the pain, Kerrie tried working out with the Melt Method in her home, and soon found herself in New York studying with Sue Hitzman, the creator of the Melt Method.

After using Melt to reduce her own pain, Kerrie started sharing it with others at Balance via intro workshops, classes, and private sessions. Like screaming advice at a mirror, the sessions emulate manual therapy, using foam rollers and rubber balls to activate bones and tissue with precision point compression and other techniques. The techniques help hydrate connective tissue and free it of built-up stress, which can lead to improvements in mobility and decreased pain.

The Groupon Guide to: Living Alone

Not everyone lives with a boyfriend or girlfriend or in a field where a group of gentle horses shows up every night and lets you pet them until morning. If you are someone who lives alone, make yourself feel less alone with these tips:

  • Break up the uncomfortable silence by leaving the TV on all day, or, if you love Earth, just constantly yelling.
  • It's hard to fall asleep alone, so build a "sleeping buddy" out of materials that are both comfortable enough to hug and durable enough to withstand your razor-sharp teeth.
  • Invite friends over for dinner. If you’re funny, dressed nicely, and figure out how to avoid having that smell happen, they'll probably ask you to marry them. Right?
  • Rent a baby from one of those rent-a-baby businesses. Not only is it cheap, but that baby won't be able to walk out on you until it's much, much older.
  • Whenever the loneliness feels unbearable, just remember you're not alone—there are hundreds of prisoners living just like you.

Which materials are durable against razor-sharp teeth?
