It's Groupon's on-going joke... A pirate has an eye patch... so they feel that a "lens patch" would be funny. It has nothing to do with photography. You don't need to have one to take the class. :)

Unfortunately, no. This Groupon deal is specifically for our Photo Essentials class. You will have an opportunity to get the Photoshop Elements class at a discount when you attend the first class however. But for this Groupon deal, it's only for the Photo Essentials class.

Thanks for your inquiry. Typically, we ask that our students be of at least high school age. The reason is that the student will likely be in a class full of adults. He/she needs to feel comfortable being there among people older. Plus he/she will be there for four hours among the adults. As for classes on the weekends, the Photo Essentials class is available on most Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 noon.
