$25 for $75 Worth of Wine

The online bottle boutique stockpiles a bounty of wines available for less than $15. Customers can also use this Groupon to guiltlessly treat themselves to a bottle with a slightly higher price tag, or they can apply the value toward a sampler case or a Barclay's Wine Experience, which includes 12 bottles, a Magic Decanter, and other essentials for $54.95 plus $19.95 shipping when using a Groupon. This deal is good for new, current, and previous Barclay's customers.

Barclay's Wine

Offering vintages from a host of regions and styles, Barclay's Wine breaks down the borders that separate winemakers from customers through home delivery of the world's top varietals. A staff of well-traveled oenophiles traverses the globe, distilling knowledge about superior vintages and the individuals who make them into an online database searchable by style, varietal, region, winery, or price range. Thorough online descriptions accompany each wine, revealing flavor notes, the growing conditions of the grapes, and anecdotes from the elderly raisins that helped to raise them, and many bottles are sold for less than $15. The site's team of behind-the-scenes wine guys prides itself on providing an outlet for producers to share their stories, philosophies, and experiences, as well as a resource that tasters can peruse to learn about each bottle they buy.

The Groupon Guide to: Rewinding a Video Cassette

If it's been a few weeks since the last time you rewound a VHS tape, you might want to refresh yourself on the steps just to make sure you complete the process correctly:

  • Identify the cassette you wish to rewind. You will know that the tape needs to be rewound if you attempt to watch it and find that the bad guy has been defeated and everyone is getting married.

  • Place the cassette in your VHS-rewinding device. It should be shaped like a car. If it is not shaped like a car, it is most likely not a VHS rewinder but a countertop bagel toaster. If this is the case, place your tape back in the VCR.

  • Push the button labeled "rewind." In lieu of human words, the button may be marked with the universal symbol for rewind: two left-facing triangles that resemble a fish swimming away from you. Don't be daunted by the fact that every fish you’ve loved has left you—it’s just a symbol!

  • When the tape is fully rewound, seal it in a padded envelope so that this never happens again.

Have you been rewinding VHS tapes incorrectly your entire life?
