$75 for a Group Firearms-Training Class for One (a $195 value)

During a lecture-based session, instructors teach groups of 10–12 students the basics of firearms operation and safety. Following the lesson, they take groups to a nearby range for one hour where participants shoot targets under the instructor's watchful eyes. Customers are required to pay an additional $30 range fee and $16–$30 for ammunition.

Bay Area Firearms

Bay Area Firearms' instructors help everyone from civilians to law-enforcement officers understand the essentials of responsible gun operation and ownership. With this central goal in mind, they lead introductory shooting courses that teach students the basics of firing shotguns and pistols. The instructors combine their lecture-based sessions with hands-on training at local gun ranges.

Beyond beginner courses, students can seek firearms certifications or sign up for private lessons with firearms professionals, such as Special Forces members. Though their specialty remains firearms training, Bay Area Firearms also schedules nonshooting courses such as home-firearms safety, CPR training, and dinosaur training courses.
