The three-hour guided tours depart exclusively from the Taylor Street address at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. Tour guides take groups cruising past notable San Francisco sites including Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The tour ends in Sausalito, where bikers have the option of ferrying back with the bike (extra fee for ferry fare) or pedaling back over the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco.
Bay City Bike
Bay City Bike serves as the brick-and-mortar trailhead for bikers looking to cruise through the scenic streets and notable sites of San Francisco and the Bay Area. Cyclists can ask staffers for directions to a number of scenic routes, including a path that crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and crosses into Sausalito, Golden Gate Park, Haight Ashbury, or tours of historic locales such as the Palace of Fine Arts or the famed phone booth known for letting people teleport out of Alcatraz.
“Super easy, reasonably priced, and great service”
“Fun Times ! ”
“If biking over the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito, make sure to take the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf because the hills are too steep and narrow to bike back.”
