People often wear jewelry as a form of self-expression--for instance, wearing a necklace tells people, "Hey, my neck is strong and goes all the way up." Decorate your décolletage with this Groupon.

After choosing materials to make a bracelet, necklace, or pair of earrings, new stringers follow their instructor for an hour to craft their piece using provided tools. Classes are held at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Students should arrive 30 minutes early to choose materials.

Beads One

The spectrum of glass bead and gemstone strands that dangle on the walls at Beads One represent all the wavelengths of light, from the deepest black baubles to nearly invisible infrared pearls. The bead haven outfits visitors with all the necessary tools, supplies, and pattern books to handcraft their own jewelry. To further aid in this process, the skilled staffers teach beginners how to string necklaces, bracelets, and earrings in their hands-on classes.

In a Nutshell

During one-hour classes, students use materials they’ve chosen to craft a bracelet, necklace, or pair of earrings
