Beaumont Ranch

Ron Beaumont grew up with a fascination for the cowboy life, dreaming of one day running his own ranch. In July of 1997, he and his wife, Linda, fulfilled his dream by opening Beaumont Ranch to the public. Herds of Texas longhorns and horses roam their 800 acre working cattle ranch, watched over by four families and three generations of Beaumonts that reside there. Wanting to share his dream with others, Ron opened the ranch to the public as a 22-room bed and breakfast and events center, inviting the public to take a taste of the wrangler's lifestyle. Miles of natural prairie land stretch in all directions, ready to be explored behind the handlebars of an ATV, atop a 1,500-foot zipline, on horseback, or during cattle herding expeditions. The Rock Creek Sporting Clay shooting range tests sharpshooting prowess, competing for attention with other activities including disc golf, paddleboats, and fishing. A mechanical bull lets riders safely experience the sensation of a rodeo star before refueling at the Friday night fish fry or Saturday night barbecue. Knowing that roping cattle, riding broncos, and playing patty-cake with chupacabras can take a toll on the body, Ron even set up a spa on the ranch where his guests can pamper themselves with a hot stone massage or peppermint herbal body scrub.
