Will this voucher affect free shipping? I’ve used Beauty.com before so for free shipping my order has to be $50. Let’s say use the voucher to buy something that costs $65. Using the voucher I would only pay an additional $35. Will I still get free shipping then?

Hema – You will be entering your Groupon ID in the Promo Code field. That being said, it will be provided as a promo code.
Mixolidia – Michelle is correct. If new customers buy over $25 worth of products, you will receive free shipping. Same goes for old customers spending over $49.

I still don’t have a clear answer to my question. So if the total purchase amount after the groupon promo code is less that $49 dollars, I will have to pay for shipping? or will it be free since the items in my cart are over $50.
The reason I keep asking is b/c I am paying $15 for $30 worth of merchandise. So if I buy something that costs $65. I pay $35 w/the groupon code. Really totaling $50 out of my pocket instead of $65 but it might seem to the Beauty.com website that I’m only paying $35 so I will be paying for shipping.
So this is where my confusion comes in b/c I’ve used beauty.com before & they charge for shipping after discounting the promo codes. So what would be the deal here?

Hi, about only using this at beauty.com, I noticed when I clicked on the beauty.com website link, it takes me to www.drugstore.com/beauty.asp. So…how do we use the coupon solely at beauty.com, as it appears to be under the drugstore.com umbrella?

Wanted to reply to some of the most recent questions.
Mixolidia – the free shipping will be activated at the $49 mark if you are a repeat customer since this promo code acts as a gift certificate (same as cash). The free shipping will be applied pre-promo code. For example, if you buy today’s Groupon for $15, you will only be required to put an additional $19 in your basket to qualify for free shipping so the free shipping comes off of the subtotal. Hope that clears things up, but please let us know if it does not.

I have the same question as Melanie. When I am in beauty.com and put in OPI nail polish it says they have it, but it’s through drugstore.com which seems to be the same company.
Hi Elisa – Although drugstore.com and Beauty.com share a cart, the $30 Groupon offer will only be applied to items that live on Beauty.com.

Loraine, The Groupon ID is on the upper right side of the Groupon, usually something like #1234567-0-1

Im not a Groupon customer service rep, but I’ve purchased from beauty.com before and know of how promotions work. To purchase something from “beauty.com” as opposed to “drugstore.com” means to buy products that are exclusively available at its respective site. Sometimes, you might find cases where products are available both on “beauty.com” and “drugstore.com”. For instance, Philosophy brand products are available on both sites.
To determine whether a products is classified as a “beauty.com” or “drugstore.com” purchase, simply checkout when under the “beauty.com” site. The site will determine which promotions/products are applicable to your promo code.

When I talk about “beauty.com” versus “drugstore.com” sites, I differentiate between the two sites by referring to the header portion of each site. Although “beauty.com” actual wesbite is “drugstore.com/beauty”, “beauty.com” does have its own distinct header and webpage design.

Helen is correct (thank you), although Beauty.com shares the same domain as drugstore.com you can differentiate the two based on the logo and header appearing on the site when you’re looking at specific products.

Ahhh so annoying. I have gone through all of the purchase steps three times and still can’t use my code through PayPal. Poorly planned Groupon venture I must say. Can’t they automate the code uploading process? It should be simple click, click, click since Groupon sends them all of the codes in a nice little list.

Be sure to double check the characters sometimes the upper case "i"s look like lower case “L”.

OK guys, I finally got it to work and here are some helpful hints and a way to save even more with a $10 off $60+ free ship link or other offers when you shop thru ebates!!
- if you shop through this link (ebates):
you will get 6% cash back. Go to the beauty.com online coupon codes page on ebates you will see links to several special offers—the one @ the very bottom is for $10 off $60 and free shipping. And if you are a new ebates sign up, you’ll choose from a $10 gc to home depot, beauty.com, redenvelope, or $5 cash.
- once you are @ beauty.com, you must only purchase things available under the beauty.com page—checkout page will take you to drugstore.com
- copy and paste the code you received (bottom right corner) into the promo code section, rather than gift card section
- you should see the deduction immediately after screen refreshes after entering code
This is annoying! I applied the groupon code (I copied and pasted from my groupon – did not type), the page refreshes but NOTHING happens. No error message, no discount…

We just looked into your code and are seeing the $30 being deducted from the full order when we test it. Are you using it on Beauty.com and not drugstore.com? The code needs to be used on a Beauty.com purchase.

you must add something from beauty.com – i finally got mine to work , wasnt working becasue I wanted something from drugstore.com, not realizing since I had searched from beauty.com for what I was looking for. I added something from beauty.com and it worked. I’m sincerely hoping, since beauty.com is on here, and reading the comments, that my order is not cancelled, since I’m posting what I did – I really needed an epilator, beauty .com does not offer any type of epilator. I ordered 1 thru drugstore.com and then I added a eyeliner sharpener for $2 to my order, and the promo code worked.
Beauty.com, is there any way to make the transitions between drugstore.com and beauty.com a little less fluent? This is my hugest pet peeve with the sears website, that it ends up having you shopping a bunch of websites. if I go to the sears website, I want to be shopping at sears, not kmart, etc…. I have the same problems there with promo codes and it is frustrating. if you do this in the future I suggest either making it easier to distinguish what is ds.com and beauty.com OR allowing the promo code to work with items from either site.

worst Groupon experience ever! I did called Beauty.com customer service number twice through the past 2 days. First I told that as soon as they had a solution I would get a call back. No one called me. When I read Beauty.com post here, I called again & the representative on the phone had no idea what Groupon is & insisted I waited to get a call back because they were working on it. She was ready for me to hang up (hang up on me) when I asked for a supervisor. Then she comes back on the phone, very chipper, not even acknowledging that she had messed up & gives me a code that works. Very disappointing. It was almost not worth it.
As expected, you wait a bit and the problem is solved. My groupon for Beauty.com didnt’ work day one or day two, but then I got an email to use the bar code number, not upper right number. Today, I used it: works perfectly, though it only shows up on checkout screen (not original input screen). So, you should all be fine.
This was my first messed up Groupon code, as so far, the ones I’ve used have gone smoothly, no hassle. I love Groupon. I hope more great restaurantas show up, as it’s neat to try new places with low $$ risk.

@ Jennifer L. This has been happening to me too. I have called Beauty.com and Groupon.com and each company is telling me to contact the other. Beauty.com has researched the code I received and it is not a working promo code. I wish I could get a real response from someone other than “contact the other company”. This is discouraging me from wanting to purchase any more Groupons for online services. And yes, I am using the promo code in the bottom right corner and not the Groupon number

I ran into the same problem. When copying and pasting, make sure to take out the leading and trailing spaces from your promo code and it should work like a charm. Good luck!

I was having problems with my code today so I called their 800 number. Even though it was a pain to do it that way, the girl I spoke with was so helpful and I am really happy with their customer service. She ended up doing the order for me over the phone and found a discount code better than the one I had originally found.
Code not working either, emailed for help since I’d like to do it online (8% cashback from bigrcrumbs!) Were the updated codes auto added to our accounts? Forgot if the originals were removed.
