The 75-minute oxygen-infused facial begins as an aesthetician applies a layer of collagen serum, followed by an oxygen mousse peel, an enzyme pack, and an oxygen wrap and mask. Together, the oxygen and collagen leave skin brighter and more radiant. Clients who opt for the 75-minute anti-aging facial can enjoy smoother, more nourished skin after a series of peels, swiss collagen treatments, and vitamin-C masks. The Fully Loaded facial, meanwhile, lasts for 90 minutes, and involves deep cleansing, extractions, and a mask, customized to skin type. Prior to opening her own studio, Bella Luna Day Spa, licensed aesthetician Jessica hopped from the East Coast across the pond to Italy and Paris on a quest for the finest European skincare products. She returned to the United States and recruited a staff of beauty professionals to make use of her findings during a slew of skincare services. Each of the staff members is well-trained to perform a number of services, from exfoliating microdermabrasion treatments and anti-aging facials to a 24-karat-gold facial that literally covers the skin in gold. Some treatments, such as the Fully Loaded facial, include a relaxing massage; others require the spa’s licensed massage therapists to step in and exclusively cater to tense muscles during deep-tissue, Swedish, and lava-stone massages. Though Bella Luna offers a relaxing environment to unwind, clients can also request at-home services, which save them the trouble of traveling or overcoming their fears of being attacked by a cloud.
