During laser hair-removal treatments, laser light fixates on the pigment within hairs in their active growth stage, blasting bristles with specialized energy to disengage the hair follicle and stunt its growth more effectively than handing it a cup of coffee. Meanwhile, a soothing mist of cryogen delivered by the handpiece’s dynamic cooling device eases the laser’s mild stinging sensation, and an optional anesthetic cream quells pain for more sensitive epidermises.
