Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for a smog check for one car (up to a $61.70 value)
  • $49 for a smog check for two cars (up to a $123.40 value)

During smog checks, state-licensed technicians identify the amount and type of pollutants released by a vehicle as it runs. They test the exhaust pipe and other emissions systems for an average of 15–20 minutes then measure the results against the state's standards. Automobiles that pass the test can then receive their certification—a biennial requirement for many Californians. This deal does not include California's $8.25 certification fee, and vehicle models made in or prior to 1995 incur an additional $10 charge. Customers who choose the two-vehicle option must bring in both cars on the same day.
