$33 for One Entry to the Immortal Dash 5K ($80 Value)

The inaugural Miami Immortal Dash 5K will storm Amelia Earhart Park on January 26, 2013. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., waves of runners will dash through the course as they overcome obstacles such as mud pits and vertical walls. The top three finishers in the male and female divisions will win prizes, as will the individual with the best costume for the event. All racers receive a free Immortal Dash t-shirt, one free beer (ages 21+ only), a post-race snack and water, and an Immortal Dash “Tough Enough” wristband.

Immortal Dash

The Immortal Dash is designed to challenge the strength, stamina, reflexes, and guts of each racer. Obstacles such as mud pits and vertical walls pepper the course, putting each participant’s valor to the test as they race for prizes and bragging rights. Though the course is designed for the mighty, people of all fitness levels can participate, as the only real determinant of success is having the courage to tough it out to the finish. Despite the challenging nature of the course, everyone enjoys a few smiles, and each racer is encouraged to don their most inventive costume—a prize goes to the participant with the best getup.

The Groupon Guide to: Rewinding a Video Cassette

If it's been a few weeks since the last time you rewound a VHS tape, you might want to refresh yourself on the steps just to make sure you complete the process correctly:

  • Identify the cassette you wish to rewind. You will know that the tape needs to be rewound if you attempt to watch it and find that the bad guy has been defeated and everyone is getting married.

  • Place the cassette in your VHS-rewinding device. It should be shaped like a car. If it is not shaped like a car, it is most likely not a VHS rewinder but a countertop bagel toaster. If this is the case, place your tape back in the VCR.

  • Push the button labeled "rewind." In lieu of human words, the button may be marked with the universal symbol for rewind: two left-facing triangles that resemble a fish swimming away from you. Don't be daunted by the fact that every fish you’ve loved has left you—it’s just a symbol!

  • When the tape is fully rewound, seal it in a padded envelope so that this never happens again.
