Betty’s Organics

Established by George Guess in 1993, Betty’s Organics fell into the hands of Betty Souch a year later and has been in the family ever since. Today, Betty’s daughter runs the operation, overseeing weekly, biweekly, or monthly deliveries of organic produce to area residences. Seasonal fruits and veggies from local farms nestle into standard or family-sized boxes alongside a few out-of-season items from reputable wholesalers. All produce is 100% certified organic in accordance with either the California Organic Food Act or the Organic Crop Improvement Association, ensuring that each avocado or bunch of red kale has been raised without exposure to chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or smutty daytime TV. Customers can visit the website to modify each parcel’s contents the weekend before delivery.
