Before guests enter into their first boot-camp class, they meet with a trainer for a half-hour one-on-one meeting to discuss exercise history and weight-loss goals. During 50- to 60-minute boot-camp classes, certified trainers target a range of muscle groups with a variety of strength and cardiovascular exercises, including boxing-based routines held each week. Their strength-building routines invigorate bodies with a powerful series of push, pull, combination, and leg exercises using equipment such as kettlebells and weights. Guests are required to bring their own towel and water bottle, as well as weightlifting gloves and boxing gloves on boxing days (Friday at the Nutley location and Thursday at Flippin' Out Tumbling and Gymnastics in Pompton Plains; call to inquire about Fairfield).

BFF Fitness Boot Camp

BFF Fitness Boot Camp blends the high-energy atmosphere of a gym with the support system and nutrition advice of a weight-loss center. The certified personal trainers motivate fitness-seekers of all levels with positive reinforcement.
