Bike Curious Rentals stocks a fleet of roughly 250 classic beach cruisers, seven- and eight-speed mountain bikes, and carts and small cycles for child riders. Once renters select a roadster, they can speed to the Venice Beach Boardwalk, located less than a block from the store, to navigate stretches of Venice Beach lined with palm trees, street performers, and street art more colorful than a tie-dyed sand sculpture. Or they can opt to veer onto the Strand, a 22-mile path along the Pacific coastline. The path winds past Santa Monica Pier's famed amusement park, Marina del Rey, and the aquarium and volleyball courts of Manhattan Beach.
