I am sorry but I do not accept insurance. 3 sessions at $89 including an acupuncture consult and nutritional evaluation is definitely worth the price of the Groupon. The nutritional program that I offer is less expensive than most co-pays. It is objective and energy based and the improvement that my patients see is in excess of 90%. If you are worried about cost then you might be interested in getting the package of 1. You will receive one acupuncture treatment and see what the nutritional program is all about.

I had lower back surgery 5 months ago. Recovery is slow but steady. There is still back pain and muscle pain. I am on pain pills but cannnot take any anti inflamatory medications.

I understand your pain. I underwent 14 lamenectomies from C-4 thru T-10. Without seeing you it's very difficult to diagnose or tell you what I can do for you. A lot of my patients who have had surgeries, suffer from tightness and pain related to scar tissue. As I have mentioned in other responses, my package of 3 visits includes my initial consult, 3 acupuncture treatments and a nutritional evaluation. That's 5 total hours of my time for $89. If you do not notice any improvement after the 3 sessions then I am probably not the right practitioner for you. I suffer pain in my buttox and can sit for only short periods of time. I have successfuly used acupunture for shoulder pain, but wonder if it would apply to the buttox. I have had an MRI, which shows some lower disc deterioration, but nothing showed up in the hip joints.

Hi Bob- You can buy a maximum of 3 acupuncture treatments at the Groupon price of $89. I have included my initial consult for acupuncture as well an optional nutritional consult. I hope this helps.. My fee for an acupuncture treatment is $80 and therefore, a fourth treatment would cost $80.

I have two herniated neck disks. I am currently only using OTC treatments, because my current medical plan does not include either an orthopedic surgeon specializing in neck disorders or a pain management specialist. I am not at this time interested in surgery or taking a lot of drugs, including steroids. My questions are, can you help my condition, and what exactly do I get in the initial visit. I would like to know how many visits before treatment actually begins. I realize there is no way to know the number I would need, but I should have some idea after the first treatment, whether I feel any relief. Thank you.

Hi Rob- Everyone is different when it comes to therapy. I wish I could just know how many treatments it takes to get better but I don't. What I can tell you is that after 3 visits, you should have a very good indication of whether or not acupuncture can help you and whether or not you wish to continue.

Hi Michelle- There is a big difference between a certified acupuncturist and a licensed acupuncture physician. A certified acupuncturist is usually a chiropractor, MD, or some other profession in the medical field that satisfied 2 weeks to 100 hours of acupuncture to obtain the ability to perform acupuncture. I am am not certified in acupuncture. I am a Licensed Acupuncture Physician, L.Ac. I went to school for 3 full years (post grad), year round. I also completed 4 set of boards, both national and state to meet the requirements to practice in my field. I am also a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. My curriculum could not be completed without close to 1000 hours of school, and 3 years of internship. Above and beyond my 3 years of working in a clinical setting, I have been in practice for almost 1 1/2 years. I hope this answers your question.
