Groupon: Collective Buying Power

Okay. Up front, I’m African-American, and I have naturally golden brown skin that darkens to reddish brown in summer. (Don’t hate.) But I’ve always thought, “You can never be too rich or too black.” (Yeah, you CAN be too thin!) So, I have a question. Do you have range of skin tones you can darken — or would I leave your salon looking like someone spray painted me orange, or some kind of alien spawn?

What’s the regular price this tanning salon charges for a mystic tan? I couldn’t find it on the website.

@ Kathleen: No matter what, the spray that they use will not leave you orange so you do not need to worry about that but they really do not have ranges of skin tones. Its just depends how dark one would like to look that determines how much they will be applying.

I am not interested in a spray tan. I would want a bed tanning instead. Will I have to use the whole groupon on that? Could I use it to buy a bed tan and supplies such as tanning lotion?

How long does a spray tan last? Not to sound stupid, but I have never had one of these and am not sure if it will wash off or get on my clothes…

Does anyone know? Thanks!

@Paul S: You can only use the Groupon for Tanning Beds or Spray Tans. You could always use one tan now and then use the credit for another day.

@ Janette H: Spray Tans usually last 7-10 days and the only day you should be careful is the day of your actual tan but it wont stain your clothes.

Stephanie, so they have only ONE shade of pigment that they apply multiple times? Doesn’t seem suitable for people of color…. :/

What are the prices on bed tanning? And what levels are the beds?
