Questions and Answers

Does one treatment include multiple areas on a leg, for example & is one treatment enough to eliminate the spider veins?

Susan B. asked 6 months, 11 hours, and 45 minutes ago - 1 answer

chuck d.

Hi Susan, Thanks for considering this BodyTrends Groupon Deal. One treatment session will cover 1-3average sized spider veins. Sometimes, one treatment is sufficient. Occasionally two are necessary. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Happy Thanksgiving! Clark BodyTrends

what is the difference between spider veins and vaicose veins.Mine are from years of standing on my leg doing retail work. Thanks for your help.

HELENE U. asked 6 months, 2 days, 10 hours, and 40 minutes ago - 1 answer

HI Helene, Thanks for considering this BodyTrends Groupon Deal. it sounds like you have Varicose veins. Varicose veins are the large bluish vessels, usually along the legs and ankles, which occur from prolonged standing in some people. Spider veins are very small, spiderlike, red, purplish vessels that appear on the face, around the nose, but occasional on the stomach, back, trunk and legs. This Groupon deal is for treatment of spider veins, also called telangiectasias. We'd be happy to have you come in and take a look to help evaluate whether this treatment is the right one for you . Just call us at 405-759-7524 and please mention that we spoke. Clark BodyTrends

Is there a doctor on staff? Why aren't the compression hose needed, if everyone else uses them?

Mindy W. asked 6 months, 2 days, 12 hours, and 27 minutes ago - 1 answer

Hi Mindy, Thanks for considering this Groupon Deal from BodyTrends. Yes, there is a physician on-site. He is also the owner. Compression hose are needed for Varicose vein treatment. Varicose veins are the large bluish vessels, usually along the legs and ankles. Spider veins are very small, spiderlike, red, purplish vessels that appear on the face, around the nose, but occasional on the stomach, back, trunk and legs. This Groupon deal is for treatment of spider veins , also called telangiectasias. No compression hose is needed for these, because this is not an issue of blood flow or increased "venous stasis:", as would be for varicose veins treatment. Souder veins are purely a cosmetic issue, not a blood flow or pain issue, like varicose veins. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Clark BodyTrends

How us thus different than schlep therapy? Better results? Of you have to wear the compression hoses?

kyla n. asked 6 months, 3 days, 22 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 2 answers

chuck d.

Hi Kyla, Thanks for considering this BodyTrends Groupon Deal. Sclerotherapy is a treatment geared towards large varicose veins on the body. It involves the injection into these veins of a chemical which causes the vein to "harden" then eventually disintegrate to remove the vein. Laser spider vein removal is different and involves the very small superficial veins, usually around the nose, on the face or legs. These red, purple or blue veins are obliterated and bleached through the action of the laser pulse. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can answer any additional questions for you. Clark BodyTrends

Oh, and no compression hose is needed following this treatment.

How do I know how many sessions to purchase? Does it take only one treatment, or repeat sessions for the same area?

Jennifer S. asked 6 months, 3 days, 10 hours, and 37 minutes ago - 1 answer

chuck d.

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for considering this BodyTrends Groupon Deal. In general, the average spider vein will be removed in one treatment. Sometimes, two treatments are necessary. If you have multiple spider veins, we recommend purchasing multiple treatments. If you buy more than is necessary, we are happy to exchange it for one of our other services. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Clark BodyTrends

My 30 year old son has severe vericose veins in his legs. Would this work for him? Does this work for spider veins in your cheeks?

Robin K. asked 6 months, 3 days, 13 hours, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

chuck d.

Hi Robin, Thanks or considering this BodyTrends Groupon Deal. This laser treatment does not work on varicose veins. Varicose veins are best treated with sclerotherapy. This does help spider veins on the cheeks or anywhere else on the body. Let me know if I can help with any additional questions. Clark BodyTrends
