Spending a little more time at each stop. The cost without the Groupon is really high! We will have to wait for another groupon to come out. Other than that we had a great time!

A bus with a designated driver is considered the safest transportation for a night of partying, and it helps cut down on the alarming rise in fatalities from drunken space-shuttle launches. Stay safe and earthbound without staying sober with today's Groupon: for $36, you get one ticket for the Great Idaho Brew Tour aboard Boise Party Bus (a $75 value).

Once you enter the moodlit confines of the Boise Party Bus mobile nightclub and stretch out on its leather seating, a designated driver will take you on a six-hour tour of Boise's best breweries and brew pubs. At the first stop, Sockeye Grill & Brewery, curious tipplers can learn a little about the brewing process or just belt back the end results in blissful ignorance. Next, the party bus glides over to the Dutch Goose for sips, snacks, and a chance to win prizes during the Boise Party Bus sudden-death horseshoe challenge. After you've rung your last ringer or died suddenly, you'll check out the new beer menu at Highlands Hollow Brew House & Restaurant before heading off to Bittercreek Ale House, which serves Grand Teton Brewing Company’s rare spiced porter, Oh Coaly Night. Chase that with a pint of Total Disorder Porter at RAM before ending your night's sudsy odyssey at Tablerock Brewpub & Grill, which serves its handcrafted beers in refillable souvenir growlers. During the drive between stops, revelers can show off their Black Swan moves on the party bus's hardwood dance floor, nod along to the thumping sound system, or rehydrate with complimentary soda, water, and ice at the multiple bar areas.

Tours depart Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m. Food and alcoholic drinks are not included with the ticket, but passengers are welcome to bring their own or purchase goodies from any of the tour stops. Boise Party Bus also offers a tasting pass ($32), good for samples of 40 different brews. Since seating is limited, booking early is recommended.

More of a pub crawl than a tour...each brewery should take a minute it educate the bus patrons on their brews.

"Great Idaho Brew Tour" sounds like "buy tickets & we'll provide the beer." I thought there would be purpose & a process. The places we went, were places I go anyway. I'm bummed that I paid so much money to be driven around my town, dropped off at my hangouts, and the only thing that was different....I didn't have my own escape car. Even the people on the bus turned out to be the same people I already know. I thought I was going to learn something about beer. I thought it was a beer tasting event, where beers would be preselected & included in my one rate. I'm disappointed, but we made the most of it. It was good time because the other participants were on the same page as us.

The Groupon lead you to believe that at each stop there would be beer tastings. For the costs it was unbelievably stupid and overrated!!! And you had to buy your own tastings at each stop.

Trying to book the trip was exhausting-- owner is not very organized. The actual trip was great fun-- but not worth the hassle.
