is it possible to accomidate a vegetarian on no menu sunday? or any day concerning the course menu? i’m a vegetarian, just wondering.
This place is great. I know that you can do vegetarian and even vegan with something like a 1 week advance notice. I was wondering the same thing about the no menu sunday. Can they do vegetarian for no menu sunday?
One more question. I can buy multiples and use on different days right?
Does this groupon include no menu sundays, the underground menu, and other “deals” that Bonsoiree offers, or do these fall under promotions?
I’m a pescatarian and ate at Bonsoiree a couple months ago. I called ahead and told them my dietary restrictions, and they went out of their way to accommodate me, even making up a dish that wasn’t on the menu. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
First – it states at the bottom (might want to put that in the highlights) that it is good Tuesday through Saturday. They are closed Monday and the deal is not valid on Sundays. You do need to sign up on their website to be invited to their Saturday “underground” dinner (mostly to see the menu for that month) but the Groupon does appear to work for it. I recommend calling for reservations AT LEAST two weeks in advance.
I’ve been going here since they opened as a gourmet take-out place. It’s been wonderful to see them grow and flourish. I recently went again for my birthday and it was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I was gritting my teeth when I saw I had missed the Groupon in the spring and raced to my computer this morning to buy a couple of these. It is an expensive restaurant, but it is worth every penny to those who love food. The staff is soooooo great and fun, not serious or somewhat stuffy as you may expect. They also ask you to let them know if you have special dietary restrictions and they try to accommodate as much as possible.
I bought the $20 for $50 back a few months ago. Wish I hadn’t gotten that one, and had gotten this one instead. I haven’t used the last one because for 2 people, $50 doesn’t really get you anywhere at B-Soiree.

I can’t seem to find the menu. When I go to the website advertised I just get a blank black screen. What is the average price for two people to eat?
A google search shows “five-course ($55), seven-course ($85) and 13-course ($150) tasting menus” per person.
Also 5 bucks cork fee.
Well. another search shows that the price may have gone up already with 6 course started at $85.

This looked like a deal to me, until I did the math for two people. Let’s say you don’t want to dine alone and bring someone with (you can only use one per table). The four course meal for two would work out to be: $55 × 2 = $110. Now tax $110.00 × 1.1 (assuming a 10% tax) = $121. Now tip $121 × 1.2 = $145.2 (assuming a 20% tip). Since the group on saves you $40, the meal would come out to be $105.20. Assuming you don’t buy drinks.
I am sure that it is well worth the money, but losses a bit of appeal when you factor in two people.
On the other hand, you save $40 on a great meal!
I’ll buy one if that hunk of a Groupon employee, Robert Matteson, will join me there for dinner.

The side deal is valid for a tasting for 2 people. however you must have a pending date for your catered event when booking the tasting.
Just to clarify, Bonsoirée offers tasting menus only. Four courses for $55, seven courses for $85, and a thirteen course menu for $150 per person.
Antonio, please note that Bonsoirée doesn’t sell alcohol and has a BYOB policy that gives customers even more savings.
Sofia, unfortunately you cannot use two Groupons for the same table as the Groupons are not valid with any other promotion. You can always plan to visit the restaurant twice and use a Groupon for each visit if you feel the need.

Tasting menu just means that you will be able to try a variety of dishes in the one meal.

Yelpers say bad things about your vegetarian replacement dishes. I’m taking a chance and giving you a shot. I’ve got my reservations in for Oct 27th (my wife’s b-day). Please don’t prove the Yelpers right!
We’ve eaten pretty much every top prix fixe in the city as well as NYC, SF, and LA and know good from bad for vegetarian and based on what I’ve seen and read from real critics, I’m very excited. If it’s as good as I’m hoping, I’ll tout you up to all I know.
This place must be awesome – they have no reservations until January – more waisted money!
Completely agree, they told me sometime in January also and I called them 2 weeks ago for a reservation in December!!!
Bonsoirée is extending Groupons that expire December 31, through January.
i don’t really quite sure how teh coupons will work. I checked the website of teh restaurant, the menu liek two course and seven course stuffs. So liek if i buy teh coupon and then i have to maek a reservation and then just eat teh two course meal ? (i want to go with mmy boyfriend)
