I’m also super interested in this treatment.
I have some acne issues, and so in the last year I did a series of laser acne treatment. I’m due for another touch-up treatment at the end of april. Are there any chemicals that would be harmful for the laser treatment? Also. ts there a certain amount of time I should allow myself between the peel and the treatment?

I’m in middle of the long process of getting laser hair removal on my chin and lip. Would this procedure be safe for me? I get the laser done about every 5 weeks, would it be better at a certain time in this cycle? Or not at all?
So are the 4 treatments scheduled over a space of time, not all in one session I assume. (sorry it’s probably a stupid questions, I’ve never gotten one of these). How often do you wait in between for follow-up treaments? THanks

I am cookies! Let’s talk Peel’s. Here goes – a big NO to the person doing laser treatments/Pro-Active/Pregger’s (there is 47% glycolic 2% salicylic). Just not a great idea so let’s do the safety dance. Also, you cannot do the peel’s if you are allergic to aspirin.

I am getting a facial at the beginning of February — how long should I wait after that to do these treatments?? Or do you suggest that I cancel the facial for now and do these treatments first?
Does a peel help with clogged pores? That is probably the biggest problem for me.

Just some info for those of you that may be shy about your beauty treatments. This place is very small and the seats they have for eyebrow waxing (and I would assume these peels too) are right at the front of the store, with no privacy. That doesn’t bother me and this sounds like a great deal, but just a head’s up!

Hi I have never done anything like this before, not any kind of facial. I read online that there can be a recovery of 2-3 days, where your skin is red and peely—is this the case? What kind of recovery is there usually, and what are the effects you are recovering from?
I got a peel a long time ago from a dermatologist and when I left that place, I was noticed because my skin looked so good. That’s my story and im sticking to it. lol I had no recovery period. My skin looked great.

This peel is excellent for hyperpigmentation. There will be no burns or peeling. It cannot be modified for different skin types, but it is safe for Afro-American skin. IT IS SAFE! Please look at the MD formulations website and do your homework. It is an effective form of exfoliation so you will leave looking fabulous and GLOWING. THERE IS NOOOOOOOOOO DOWN TIME – Again, no peeling or burning! That is unacceptable unless she went to the dermatologist and got that strength of a peel.

For what kinds of skin is this treatment recommended? My skin is extremely prone to acne but it also dried out and peeling from the cold weather and the harsh Proactiv treatment I’ve been using. Would a glycolic peel help or should I consider a different procedure?
