Starting with a comprehensive eye examination, the doctors pore over ocular orbs for signs of aberration and screen for disease. Prescriptions are then sent to their onsite lab, where technicians churn out single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses within a few days; enough time for patients to pick out an ideal pair from more than 1,000 frames—including more than 60 from designer brands—but not so long that their eyes have already turned into raisins. The staff can also satisfy frame-free tastes by fitting eyes with contact lenses from brands such as Acuvue and Bausch + Lomb.
