The Provincetown Fast Ferry, named the Salacia, is a passenger-only catamaran that shuttles sea-goers from Boston to P-Town and back on a jaunt full of sea breezes and onboard amenities. Powered by Caterpillar marine engines and Rolls Royce water jets, the ferry can reach speeds of up to 40 knots, or 45 miles per hour, dropping crew and passengers off at the Cape in a quick 90 minutes. Once there, visitors can enjoy all of the Cape’s local shops, sights, and restaurants. Tickets for children younger than 3 years old are $30 and should be purchased separately by phone, online, or in person. See the full schedule here.
