Flipping a tire end over end is both a common boot-camp exercise and a gross misunderstanding of what the wheel was meant to do. Rethink conventions with this Groupon.

$49 for 10 Boot-Camp Classes ($179 Value)

One-hour boot-camp classes annex Boston's scenic greenway setting with resistance bands, agility ladders, and body-weight exercises during the warmer months. Further touring Boston, the personal trainers lead students in UrbanRun sessions, hoofing it 3–6 miles throughout the city. Click here for a class schedule.

Boston's Bootcamp

A certified personal trainer and the owner of Boston’s Bootcamp, Kelsey Raycroft sharpened her competitive spirit as a member of the U.S. synchronized-skating team, later channeling her figure-skating techniques to plan off-the-ice workouts. Her exercise programs have benefited clients from internationally ranked athletes to gym newbies, and at Boston's Bootcamp, she coaches students from all fitness backgrounds.

Boston's Bootcamp classes blend cardio intervals with resistance bands and body-weight moves to keep heart rates humming. From April through autumn, Kelsey leads her one-hour sessions on the greenway for a scenic view of the Boston skyline. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors also fuels the Saturday UrbanRun program, a two- to four-mile jaunt that incorporates the city's structures into exercise pit stops and landscape speed-painting stations.

The Groupon Guide to: Brooches

The most beautiful sight to see resting upon a lady or a fella’s lapel is a glimmering brooch. Here are some of the most popular jewels to pin on a blouse:

  • A beetle with jewel-encrusted wings and beady, obsidian eyes
  • A sterling-silver horse jumping over its own long, golden tail
  • Locket of your sorority’s Greek letters containing picture of your sorority’s Official Boyfriend of Choice
  • Wooden beads gathered in a cluster to represent the way wooden berries grow naturally
  • Car-hood ornament glued to a safety pin
  • Pencil made of red rubies, white diamonds, and blue sapphires to represent the fact that America’s pencil manufacturers are our hidden gems
  • Profile of Victorian woman shaming her daughter for sneezing publicly
  • Golden ax cutting down a cherry tree to represent the fable about George Washington
  • Golden ax cutting down a cherry tree to represent uselessness of trees in the future of society

Which brooches match my Victorian-era sensibilities?
