The Groupon states it is for a one day pass. On the Boulders web, a day pass is for those who are already belay certified. Can this groupon one day pass be used for the Clip In with Shoes ($20) for first-timers?

The Groupon is actually for the clip in and includes all gar and an intro lesson--it is a great way to try out climbing! (The terminology just got a little mixed up!) Sorry for the confusion!

As you dear manager are probably aware, I believe that Groupon has this programmed incorrectly. It will not let you buy more than one one-day pass,even in a different transactions. Customer Service acknowledged that the "gift" function was not working and said that I could buy one 5 punch pass and use it for a group of five on one visit. Since this last point seems counter to the Q&A, could you (manager) confirm that I can indeed buy a single five punch pass and use it for a group of 5? Sorry about the hassle, but thanks Steve

Yes, you may buy more than one if they are being given as gifts. However, an individual can only redeem one of each offer (so a person could not redeem three day passes even if they received them all as gifts).
