A playground can be the site of a first birthday party, a first transatlantic paper-airplane flight, and a first doctoral dissertation on the geothermal impact of teeter-totters. Make a scientific breakthrough while breathlessly jumping with today's Groupon: for $19, you get five passes to be used for either the open bounce or the family bounce night at BounceU of Gilbert (up to a $44.75 value). Sprightly bouncers must wear socks in order to play. Adults and children under two years old enter for free if accompanied by a paying child.
BounceU transports kids to an inflatable, climate-controlled playground, where they can bounce from side to side in a safe, secure environment. Your five passes are valid toward any combination of open bounce sessions, which are scheduled at various times throughout the week, and family bounce night, which takes place every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kids can imagine they're synchronized leapers in Michael Flatley's Riverbounce as they carom around the inflatable stadium, expending energy with every leap. Adults are welcome to act like eight-year-olds and join the vivacious youngsters in the playground, where they can duel with the foam-shooting equipment or mount the climbing structures.
The attentive BounceU staff will monitor the rebounding playground at all times, ensuring that the facilities are safe and clean. On family bounce night, parents can order a pizza and a two-liter of soda (not included in this Groupon) so that the kids can spend dinner imagining they're Sir Lancelot and his steed invading the dominion of trampolines.
Must fill out a waiver to bounce. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign waiver.

Groupon Says
Parents Just Don't Understand…or Do They?
Today's deal gives parents and children a well-deserved break from each other. The tension between parents and their offspring can be stressful, often causing kids to break out into verses of the Fresh Prince classic "Parents Just Don't Understand" while parents simultaneously begin crooning "Kids Today" from the Bye Bye Birdie score. The resultant cacophony can wake neighborhood babies, shatter the tubes of older television sets, and cause dogs to run away to find families less tone-deaf.
A much better way to cope with intra-familial animosity is through a mutual stress-relieving activity. Parents, when was the last time you sat down with your children and asked them to teach you the video game they were playing in exchange for two hours of unsupervised driving practice in the nearest graveyard? And kids, don't write off your parents as uncool old fuddy-duddies! They were young once too, and more than happy to regale you with stories from their wild college days of staying up all night studying for their CPA certification, or the time they packed six of their friends into their five-seater Chevy Cavalier to see Ghostbusters in a real movie theater.
Remember, kids and parents, when you're at each others’ throats, you only have to lower your grip a few inches to turn that strangle into a hug.
