Questions and Answers
The pass is a 5 punch open bounce card that can be used all at once for 5 admissions or for 5 seperate bounce times
As far as the adults are concerned if you bring two adults and one child and they are all participating then you would need to use two of your admissions
Yes you could bring up to 20 kids, just make sure you make reservations so that we can fit your group in. Just make sure to let them know that you have a groupon pass so that they dont charge you a deposit. Normally at the open bounces we need a deposit for more than 6 reservations at one open bounce, but if you have a groupon we wont need one.
You can find all of the open bounce times on our website under events and on the events calendar that you can print out. We also add last minute weekend open bounce times weekly, so you can call the store on Wednesdays to get updated times or join our VIP email list
Can this also be used for the preschool play date open bounce times?
Just to be clear, if I come with two children I don’t have to use a punch for myself as long as I’m not bouncing correct? Thanks

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!*
Bounce U is VERY fun, but I bought a 1/2 price gift card to bounce u and they are so greedy about letting you use them- when/ how you use them. There was very little small print, but they included the line ‘call the store for more details’. Ya, that’s when they would ONLY let you use them on specific times and days (probably their slower times) & they’d constantly change their rules AND added an expiration date. They wouldn’t let me use the full amount, but wouldn’t give me the difference as credit. You had to tell them when you made the reservation that u were using your pass/gift card. No one wrote it in the computer so when I went they made a huge stink and werent going to let me in. They were so mean and nasty and belittling!
They’re a shady/ greedy company, so make sure you get the facts before you buy and if you talk to someone at Bounce U get their name- they’ll tell you something and then deny they ever said it. It was a nightmare for me.
I won’t EVER spend my money @ Bounce U again— there are so many better/ customer appreciating places!

BECKY: Sorry you had that experience. I can ASSURE you that no Groupon customer will be disappointed with today’s Groupon. We only feature businesses that are highly rated. In addition, all of the terms and conditions of the deals are outlined up front – no catches, hidden agendas, etc.
Only the best with Groupon – thanks!
So this pass cannot be used towards a child admission, only an adult with a full-price paying child? So if I bought a couple of these I couldn’t bring my 2 boys with them and pay no additional to let them play?
Could you please clarify this-
The FINE print states “VALID FOR 1 FREE ADULT WITH EVERY PAYING CHILD”
Does this mean then, that this Groupon is good for 5 ADULT admissions and then one must pay the regular $7.95 per child? I, the adult, do not wish to bounce, however I have 5 children who do. Would this then mean I could not use this groupon for theses 5 children?
Okay – a few things:
Universal groupon rules state that it has to be used all on one visit. Jennifer C above states that it can be used all at once or for 5 separate visits. Which is correct? Jennifer, are you with Bounce U (employee/owner)? Katie, I can’t find anything in writing about the 5 separate visits, except what’s posted here.
Also, I don’t understand the limit of 2 groupons, but buy more as gifts? How does that work? If I buy more than 2, am I required to input email addresses or something to ensure that I’m not using the additional groupons for myself?

JM – good question. The universal FP is true unless otherwise noted (which it is for this specific feature).
You are only allowed to purchase 2 for yourself, kids, etc. If you are purchasing others as gifts, you must used the “Buy it for a Friend” feature, to be used by someone else.
Stephanie-
Yes your are right, the only way that you would have to pay for an adult if there were more more adults playing than children. If you do not plan to participate you do not have to pay or use a punch :)
Melissa-
The punch card is for any admission. You COULD bring your two boys and not pay any additional. You are free with the two boys. So its a great deal!!
Connie-
You can bring all five of children and not pay anything! You would be free. Parents are always free unless there are more parents than children and they are all participating.
To clarify it we could say 1 free participating adult with every admission paid
JM-
Yes I am the general manager at Gilbert BounceU and please feel free to call the store with any questions we would be happy to anser any questions for you. 480-632-9663
When you purchase this deal, you get a punch card with 5 punches on it that you can use for multiple children at the same visit or if you have 1 child you can come 5 different times etc. We are just asking that the full card be used by March
Becky R.-
I am so sorry that you had that experience at our location. I have a free 5-pass open bounce card waiting for you at the store. Please call the store and let me know where I can send it. I assure you we value all of our customers and strive for top of the line service. We hope that you will come visit us again.
Thanks so much for the info Jennifer and Katie!
Jm
You are welcome! We hope to see you bouncing in soon!
I have been to Bounce U before and had a great experience with them. I have been to other bounce places in the valley and this is by far the best one. I am looking to have my son’s 3rd birthday here in February because we had so much fun. I definitely recommend this place. =) On a side note, although parents can sit and watch, it is way more fun to be actively playing with your children b/c lets face it, how often do we get to play on things like this?
FYI, I would recommend pants and/or a long sleeve shirt b/c your knees and elbows can take a beating.
So the fine print says 1 free adult with every paying child. so does using the punch card to pay for child count as a paying child?
D’Angelo-
Yes it does, you would just need to use more than one punch if you have more adults than children participating on the equipment.
I have been to many of the Family Bounce nights with my son and his friends. The staff is always courteous and more than willing to play with the kids, so on the days that I have had a rough day at work I can relax while they get out their energy. We have also had a birthday party here and attended a couple other parties and we have never been let down. It’s especially great to get out of the sun and heat in the summertime :)

I saw this was asked, but didnt see where it was answered. The detail mentions they are good for open bounce times and family night bounces, but are these passes also good for the preschool bounce times? In addition, regardless of what bounce time we choose to attend – we always need to call ahead and make reservations? No drop ins allowed? Just want to make sure.

Sorry, one more quesion. It also says that it is good for regularly scheduled bounce times – but above it said that you schedule last minute weekend open bounce times too. Since those are regularly scheduled, the groupon punch pass would still be good for those?
Ok, maybe two questions. On our first visit with the groupon we’ll receive a punch pass – so when we make a reservation that FIRST TIME ONLY we need to mention that it’s for the groupon, right? After that, we can just make a reservation and use the punch card, correct? Or do we have to tell them every time that we are using another punch from our groupon.
Yes the pass does include Preschool Playdate. Please call to make reservations at all open bounces, because we can only have a certain amount of people to make that everyone is safe! Please also let us know that you have a groupon so that we can expedite the call
Yes they are valid for the last minute weekend times. It will help if you mention that you have a groupon each time so that we can expedite the call faster, because your information will already be in the system. We will see you soon!!
This works for the Early Morning Saturday open bounce, correct?
Pennie
Yes Absolutely!! This is good for all normal open bounce times. The only times this pass would not be valid would be on Holidays, Parents Night Out, and Wacky Wednesdays.
There are at least 35 times a month that you can use your bounce pass including Fall Break and Winter Break.
Great… Thank you!
I love Bounce you. Actually I should say that my grandchildren love Bounce U and I enjoy being there with them. Some how they always get me on all of the different bounce pieces. I have been in all of the rooms and every room is different. The tall slide is my personal favorite. I have also talked to other adults that went without children – one lady was in a singles group – they had a ball. This is a great deal!!
BounceU has 9 different inflatables that you can run, jump, and climb all over. We also are Arizona’s only place that has the Amazing Spider Climb. We are also expecting 2 new pieces of equipment at the end of September! Happy Bouncing!!
You couldn’t pay me to return to this location after I was treated so rudely by the assistant manager (Kevin?) when trying to use a coupon. I have 2 friends who have also had terrible experiences at Bounce-U in Gilbert. One friend brought in a coupon from the Entertainment book and was accused of forgery. I hope they are more courteous with the Groupons. The man I dealt with was mean and had no business being in customer service.
Thanks for the heads-up. I hate places that treat you poorly for using a coupon.
Katrina-
I am so sorry that your friends had a bad experience with the Gilbert BounceU. We truley try to provide t top of line service to everyone! I assure you that the Groupon will be handled with effiency and will be a great experience for everyone.
Stephanie-
I assure you that the Gilbert BounceU treats all customers with the highest level of customer service. We have a ton of coupons out there so that everyone can come and have a great time!
We had a great time with all the bouncers who came and played at both of our open bounce sessions today! We hope to see more Groupons tommorrow at our 12:30-2:30 session. Make sure to call for reservations 480-632-9663
Sadly, our first visit to Bounce U using groupon admission will be our last. When we arrived at the store there seemed to already be some kind of problem being dealt with, and other patrons were complaining about the way they were being treated by the staff this morning. Then when it was our turn to check in it wasn’t a very positive experience. The manager on duty was making loud complaints about the number of people trying to use their groupons today, and basically treating each groupon customer in pretty negative way. We had purchased the groupons with the idea of having a family gathering in December, but when we called in Dec the groupon was just too difficult to use since we could only use it during specific days and times. We ended up letting Dec pass and decided to use the groupons for our daughters birthday. There were no caveats on the groupon deal page stating that we could not jump in celebration of a birthday, and a few of our guests arrived with gifts. One guest was asked to leave her gift in the car out of concern for “something happening” to her gift, but she chose not too because she didn’t plan on bouncing and knew she would be next to her gift the whole time and did not share a concern for something happening to the gift. We entered the play area, and within a few minutes, one of the assistants came to find me and told me “we asked you guys to leave the gifts in the cars, you didn’t pay for a party and we can’t be responsible for something happening to the gifts.” I didn’t say anything to her, I just got up, put my shoes on, and told my guests “Hey guys, we didn’t pay for a party, so we have to take our gifts outside” and proceeded to take the gifts to the vehicles.
After speaking with 3 other patrons while we were there and hearing their stories about how rudely the believed themselves to have been treated, my sister in law went to the manager and told her “just so you know, we won’t be back”. The person she said that too apparently didn’t feel that she should be spoken to “in that way” (I’m sure there was more said, and frankly I didn’t hear the conversation, I only know what happened next). So, my sister in law came back in, took her book, said “will you keep an eye on my child I am going to go sit in the car, the police are on their way”. My husband, being a police officer himself of course was very interested in how this came to be and went out to see the manager and my sister in law “having words” and he took out his phone to take the manager’s picture. She didn’t like that and told him “you and your whole party can leave, now.” The police arrived, they talked to her, they talked to us, it was determined that the big problem was that we were using a groupon, had complained about the way they interacted with our party, and had taken her picture. We agreed to delete the pictures, she agreed to not press charges (for what, I wonder? For being disatisfied? Nobody yelled, screamed, or acted out in any way, so I’m not sure why the police became involved in the first place). Then a second patron came out, and was interviewed by the police and also asked to leave. We were not related to that party in any way, and also did not observe any behavior on her part that seemed like the kind of behavior that would warrant a police call. (after the fact we learned that she too had complained verbally to the manager on duty about the way she and her family were treated, and that she too had paid using groupon passes.)
Its really too bad that 4 out of what looked to be 6 families using the facilities this morning were treated so poorly. I honestly hope that the manager on duty was also the owner, because if she did what she did this morning to somebody ELSE’S business….well, I know I would not keep an employee around who purposefully sabotaged my efforts at showcasing my business by treating people using the offer I made available as though they were criminals.

I warned you all. They’re VERY feisty about any coupons used & super greedy! I wouldn’t go back to Bounce U if it was the last indoor bounce place on earth. They were mad we used a group discount once and the manager sent an employee into the bounce room to tell my prego friend (in the middle of summer) that should could NOT under ANY circumstance have water in the bounce room. We didn’t make a scene, she just took her water and left it at the front desk like a good girl (being treated like she was 2!). She was sitting on the bench by the tile with it— I dont see how that was a problem. But he was mad at us and was looking for any reason to start trouble. Sorry you had this experinece Lisa. It really is sad, but made me chuckle because I KNEW this would come about with these groupons. WHY offer a coupon if aren’t going to accept it? They have very poor customer service. I had 3 friends with me as well when we went… not one of us will ever go back. I posted on facebook and my blog about our experience, other people have seen the same stuff— and others have been warned and steer clear of the place. The owner of bounce u has a bad reputation already. Thanks for sharing your experience with the rest of us. Hopefully groupon will refuse to offer any more deals for bounce u. Spend your money at JUmp Street and Jump N Shout…. awesome places, great employees and cheaper prices!!

So this is for 5 free passes, does it all have to be used at once or can we do say 3 kids then save the 2 passes for another date?
Since it’s 5 free passes, how does the “Valid for 1 free adult with every paying child” work into this statement on the fine print? Do adults have to pay and count toward a pass or just the kids?
Limit is 2 per person, so that’s 10 kids should we buy 2 certificates. If a friend buys 2 and I buy 2, we can bring a group of 20 kids then? Is this correct?
Thanks in advance and sorry for all the questions.
