I also would be using one session for my daughters senior pic, how affordable is the rest of package? We are a small family but would need a few pictures to pass around.

My youngest daughter has very blue eyes and she usally sqints or closes her eyes. We are a military family and I want to get a Colorado Picture to add to our different locations. Do you think you can work with her if the sun is bright can we get good pictures without shadow and squinting.

Hi Kelly,
That is an a very astute question! The short answer is “absolutely”. The long answer is that we use lighting equipment (like in a studio) so squinting caused by the sun is not a problem.

Hi The B,

I can certainly give you a rough idea. Of course the schedule will be changing so I can’t pin it down exactly right now however. The “constant” schedule will be this;

1) Every weekday after 4 (ish) until the sun goes down. (we chose this time of day for the quality of light in the evening) This decision however minimizes the number of sessions we can can do per day, so we made the expiration date well into 2012.

2) Most weekends will be completely open. However we are also wedding photographers so some Saturdays will be booked.

3) We have arranged for online session scheduling. You will receive an email directly from us with easy instructions on how to do that. (it’s very easy)

Hey, Brad, how do I know if I succeeded in purchasing this Groupon Deal? I thought I would receive an email, but I didn’t. Do I need to wait longer or retry?

Hi Barbara,

Groupon will usually send you an email clarification within a few hours. I believe they must generate the emails manually, so it may take awhile. If you saw a confirmation screen, then I’d say you’re good to go. If not, I’d check my online banking to see if your card was charged. If it wasn’t, give it another go. You may also want to write Groupon customer support an email, I’m sure they could tell you if your order when through. Thanks so much!!

Hi Katherine,

Thank you so much for compliments about our work. That is very nice to hear. As with all true portrait photographers, we are a full service portrait studio, meaning that prints are indeed available for purchase and everyone will be given as much time as they need to choose that perfect image for their heirloom enlargement, or additional prints. If your asking about burning a disk, I’m afraid we cannot offer that for portrait sessions. We do offer a full range of prints, canvas prints, Christmas cards and even silly little coffee mugs. These can all be ordered during your portrait session.

Thanks for the info on the last question. Here’s #2. Can we place our order at a time other than the session date? Kids seem to be cranky by then and we can’t really take the time to choose which poses we want, etc. B

Hi B,

Well, I think we should take a “wait and see” approach. Technically we need to choose them same day, however, I’m a dad of little ones as well, so I know very well that kiddos have a way of changing our plans. So, if need be, we can arrange to show the images at a later date if you agreed to come back to the location. I should stress that we simply can’t offer this to everyone, and would only be when really needed. Great question, and I’m sure we can work it out.

Maybe I missed this but…..does it have to be ALL the same people in each session? I would love to have one session done with one son and his girlfriend and the other with the other son and his girlfriend but both with the same mom and dad, of course!

Hi Mary,
You can have completely different people in each session if you choose. That is perfectly ok. However, you may want to just bring everybody to the same session, and have us do separate shots of each set, and every combination. That’s ok too!

Technically the Groupon fine print says you can only buy for yourself, but you CAN buy more for others. So, do with that information what you will :) You could always buy more for others and then just be in that photo too? I suppose Groupon would be ok with that. Hopefully. :)

1. Can they get a photo session before Friday, July 30? (they are leaving for home)

2. Can we get smaller pics (ie. 8X10) and have both of the photo sessions on the same day? Or my hubby and I can take the other.

I noticed on your website that your normal sitting fee includes an 11×14 enlargement OR smaller. Could I get an 8×10 included instead for the groupon price? (I would need an 8×10 of my senior.) Also, I would need a yearbook format image to submit to the school. Do you do that and what is the cost?
