Dry powder blankets the slopes of two peaks, offering heart-pounding downhill action for skiers, boarders, and tubers of all skill levels

The Fine Print

  • Expires Apr 14, 2013
  • Limit 3 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Valid only for option purchased. Must be 7-12 for junior tickets and 65 or older for senior tickets. Not valid on holidays.

With snow, skiing takes an annoying obstacle and turns it into an opportunity for fun, just like rock climbing does for huge boulders and skydiving does for air. Enjoy powder the only way possible with this Groupon.

Choose from Four Options

  • $34 for one full-day adult lift ticket (a $49 value)
  • $54 for two full-day adult lift tickets (a $98 value)
  • $24 for one full-day child or senior lift ticket (a $35 value)
  • $44 for two full-day child or senior lift tickets (a $70 value)

Skiers and snowboarders ride eight lifts up the resort's two peaks, with elevations of 11,307 feet and 10,300 feet, visiting 71 runs that range from beginner-friendly green circles to double black diamonds. Full-service lodges at the base of each mountain provide patrons with rentals, food, and lessons. Two-full day ticket options may be redeemed by two people on the same day or can be redeemed over two consecutive days by the same person.

Brian Head Resort

Rising above the Markagunt Plateau like the ramming prow of an ancient oared ship, Brian Head Peak commands the surrounding landscape as the highest point in Iron County. Originally dubbed Monument Peak because of its looming height, unique shape, and the 19th century’s superstitions against building actual monuments, the peak now presides over a namesake resort, a 660-acre spread with the highest base elevation in Utah and all the great snow that comes with it. The snow is cold and dry—its average moisture content is just 4%—which means that even though Brian Head Resort is located on a national scenic byway within hours of five national parks, the resort’s eight lifts remain the most enticing way to explore the outdoors.

In addition to 71 ski trails, the resort’s slopes—divided between Brian Head Peak and the slightly smaller Navajo Peak—offer features such as the bag jump, which allows guests to try out jumps, tricks, and homemade parachutes safely before touching down on a giant inflatable pillow. Regular night skiing opens up lower slopes for evening runs while those tired of shredding can hit up the tubing lanes for carefree descents. Rentals outfit casual downhillers with all the equipment they need, complementing private and group lessons for all ages on Navajo Peak. The resort’s experienced professionals also cultivate the next generation of skiers by combining lessons with daycare for wee ones aged 3 and older.

The Groupon Guide to: Knowing When to Quit

Sometimes it's better just to quit now than to see it through and find out what it feels like to be a winner (they're eternally happy). Here are some examples of times when you should quit:

  • You're ahead.
  • You're last.
  • You feel like you might throw up.
  • They're giving personal pan pizzas to everyone who quits.
  • Your mentor has downgraded you from "protégé" to "ongoing frustration."
  • You have a chance to create a new identity for yourself in a small New England town if you just walk away now.
  • Quitting is "your thing," according to all of your past fiancés.
  • No one wants you to win because you're a villain, and for you, winning means selling a bunch of elementary schools to an evil corporation that will turn them into recycling centers.

Hi, I'm Stiven Knatts, and I'm glad to be here in Hidden Town, Rhode Island.
