Each boudoir or romantic photo shoot includes an 8"x10" or 8"x12" retouched portrait of your choice.

In a phone consultation with a professional photographer—studio owner Lori or one of her associates—you describe your desired look and photographers give tips on posing, wardrobe choice, and theme song. The studio's extensive wardrobe brims with costumes and props, and hair and makeup professionals can work with you to complete your look. Photo shoots take about an hour, capturing five to seven different poses against a single background chosen from the studio's sets. You may add a wardrobe and background change for an additional $99.

On a second visit to the studio, pairs or solo artists with a guest enter the Sexy Theatre Room, where they view the session's top 15 images to select one for retouching and printing into an 8"x10" or 8"x12" portrait. Clients can purchase more prints for an additional fee.

Brystan Studios

After a fruitful modeling career, Lori Brystan moved to the other side of the camera lens, where she began to capture artful portraits of families, kids, and women that would look at home in the pages of a fashion magazine. In 1989, she opened Brystan Studios, which eventually expanded to include a team of professional makeup artists, hairstylists, set designers, and photographers. Inside the professional studio, a large dressing room brims with props, fan mail, and glamorous costumes. Using in-studio sets, Lori captures images ranging from burlesque-themed boudoir shoots to pared-down images, such as women posing in front of a white sheet or siblings lying in a hammock. The studio also specializes in love-note videos, professionally produced short films that capture the subject's inner starlet without the use of a net. The busy shutterbug also works as beauty editor for the lifestyle pub Greer's OC and penned High Impact Portrait Photography, a book on framing eye-catching portraits.
